Our Commitment to
People, Planet & Prosperity
At Vadalo Ventures, every jute bag, cotton bag, and canvas bag we manufacture carries a promise — made ethically, sourced naturally, and delivered transparently. From Kolkata to the world, sustainability is not a marketing claim — it is our operating principle.
Doing Business the Right Way
For International Buyers: We are a factory-direct manufacturer in Kolkata, India — the global heartland of jute. Our CSR commitments are backed by registrations, audits, and documentation. We welcome third-party inspections and compliance audits.
Vadalo Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is a jute bag manufacturer and eco-friendly bag exporter based in Kolkata, West Bengal — the city that built the world's jute industry. We manufacture jute bags, organic cotton bags, canvas bags, and juco bags for wholesale B2B buyers across India and internationally.
Our CSR policy is not a corporate checkbox. It is a binding operational commitment — embedded into our sourcing, manufacturing, hiring, and buyer relationships. Every decision is filtered through three questions: Is it good for people? Is it good for the planet? Is it sustainable long-term?
We believe that as a custom jute bag supplier and promotional bags manufacturer, our influence extends beyond our factory walls. The bags we make replace billions of single-use plastic bags globally. The workers we employ support families in Kolkata's jute artisan communities.
"We don't just make bags. We make choices — and every choice we make is a vote for the kind of world we want to live in. A jute bag made with fair wages, natural fibres, and zero plastic is not just a product — it is a philosophy." — Rajesh Singh, Director, Vadalo Ventures Pvt. Ltd.
What We Stand For
Our entire CSR framework rests on four non-negotiable pillars — whether we are supplying wholesale jute bags to a Kolkata retailer or exporting custom promotional bags to a European supermarket chain.
Environmental Responsibility
We manufacture exclusively with 100% natural, biodegradable fibres — jute, organic cotton, canvas & juco. No plastic, no synthetic fibres, no harmful dyes. Our goal: leave the planet cleaner than we found it — one bag at a time.
Fair Labour & Worker Rights
Every person in our Kolkata factory is paid fairly, treated with dignity, and works in a safe, ventilated environment. We strictly prohibit child labour, forced labour, and discrimination — in compliance with Indian law and international standards.
Community Development
We actively support Kolkata's jute artisan and weaving communities through priority local hiring, artisan training, and NGO partnerships. Buying from us sustains real livelihoods in one of India's most significant craft communities.
Transparency & Ethics
We are fully registered — Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U46410WB2024PTC275166), GST, MSME/Udyam, IEC, Ethical Trade Practices. We do not engage in corruption, misrepresentation, or unfair trade. Our processes are open to third-party audit.
Environmental Responsibility
As a reusable shopping bags manufacturer, our greatest positive impact is through the very products we make. A single Vadalo jute bag replaces an estimated 500+ single-use plastic bags over its lifetime.
🌿 Material & Production Commitments
What we use — and what we absolutely do not use
- 100% Natural Raw Materials: We manufacture exclusively with jute, organic cotton, canvas, and juco. Completely biodegradable — no synthetics, no microplastics.
- Zero Plastic Policy: Not a single piece of plastic in our bag products — no plastic handles, no synthetic linings, no polyester threads.
- Eco-Friendly Dyes: Non-toxic, reactive, azo-free dyes compliant with REACH and Oeko-Tex standards. No heavy metals, no carcinogenic compounds.
- Waste Reduction: Cutting and stitching patterns optimized using lean manufacturing to minimize fabric waste.
- Water Management: Dyeing and washing processes follow responsible water usage guidelines. No untreated wastewater discharge.
- Sustainable Jute Sourcing: Raw jute sourced from West Bengal farmers — the world's finest jute-growing region. Jute grows in 4–6 months, absorbs CO₂, requires no pesticides.
♻️ Reusability & End-of-Life
Designed for long life and zero waste at end-of-life
- Reusable by Design: All Vadalo bags built to withstand 300–500+ uses. Heavy-duty stitching, reinforced handles, quality grammage ensure long product life.
- 100% Biodegradable: When a Vadalo jute bag reaches end-of-life, it can be composted — breaks down naturally in 1–3 years, leaving zero toxic residue.
- Anti-Plastic Advocacy: We actively promote the global shift from single-use plastic bags to reusable natural fibre bags.
- Product Life Extension: Our bags can be washed, reprinted, and repurposed — extending usable life.
🌱 Why Jute is the World's Most Sustainable Fibre
- Jute absorbs 15 tonnes of CO₂ per hectare per season while growing
- Grows in 4–6 months with minimal water and zero pesticides
- Jute fibre is 100% biodegradable and compostable
- India produces over 60% of the world's jute — West Bengal is the epicentre
- Jute cultivation enriches soil for subsequent crops — no land degradation
- One jute bag replaces an estimated 500+ plastic bags over its lifetime
Fair Labour & Human Rights
Labour rights are non-negotiable at Vadalo Ventures. Whether an international buyer conducts a SMETA audit or an Indian buyer visits our factory — what they find will match exactly what is written here.
